Comment of the week: “If you don’t believe me – look in the refrigerator?!”
We have enjoyed France! We started the week in Boulogne-sur-Mer, from where we also did a tour to the village next door, Wimerucx. A charming village where the children could taste mussels, moules marinieres. Did they like it? Not their new favourite.
Further on to Dieppe and Saint Vaast. We found a nice mooring just outside the Saint Vaast harbour, so wonderful. And what an evening, dinner at SY Sundance and enjoying the marvellous view.
We did some longer legs of sailing this week, longer than 24h, and one of them started with a big surprise! When we (Sanna and Jonas) woke up, we received a message from Alma “Let me sleep, I have done pasta salad. If you don’t believe me – look in the refrigerator. Hope it goes well in the morning ”. And not just that, the kitchen was cleaned, dishes washed and removed. So impressed! And what a lunch!
During one of the nights we were sailing we also got stuck in a fishing net, but luckily we managed to get rid of it.
And of course celebrating Alma’s birthday. And what better way to do that then with a taco party with our friends from SY Sundance. So wonderful! And a very happy Alma
We finished the week in Roscoff. The plan was to sail to Brest, and cross the Bay of Biscay from there. But now, it seems to be very good weather for the crossing, Monday to Wednesday next week. So should we change our plans, going directly from Roscoff to A Coruna, or should we stick to the plan, going to Brest and wait for good weather?
Tomorrow we will decide.
